10.13.3 Calibration models

At first order, rotational modulation light curves can be modelled with a simple sinusoidal function. If a significant period $P$ is detected in one of the time series segments defined in Section 10.13.4, then the model

is fitted to each of the $m\in (G,G_{\mathrm{BP}},G_{\mathrm{RP}})$ time series segments. This produces model coefficients $a_m$, $b_m$, and $c_m$ for each segment in which a significant period is detected.
