10.7.2 Properties of the input data

The EB candidates are selected from the list of sources classified as ECL by supervised classification (Section 10.3), with conditions on their probabilities. The candidates are further filtered based on their $G$-band time series properties such as the minimum number of good measurements, skewness or signal-to-noise ratio, and the frequencies. In addition, we restrict the sample published in Gaia DR3 to the candidates with periods greater than 0.2 days, to avoid alias frequencies obtained at smaller periods, and global rankings greater than 0.4, to limit the number of spurious cases.
