10.12.1 Introduction

The short-timescale SOS work package aims to produce a list of short-timescale candidates with timescales between a few tens of minutes to one day. This candidate list results from the analysis of Gaia time series (in $G$ CCD, $G$ FoV, $G_{\mathrm{BP}}$, and $G_{\mathrm{RP}}$), for sources with sufficient number of transits in the $G$ band, and for which time series showed a significant degree of variability at per-CCD level and for the majority of the FoV transits of the source.
