10.4.2 Properties of the input data

The input sample for the SOS AGN work package was derived from classification results (Section 10.3) that indicated AGN as the most probable class. The initial sample consisted of several million (unpublished) AGN candidates with preliminary permissive probability cuts to be refined successively, and with at least 20 FoV transits in $G$ band for a reliable variability analysis. This superset of candidates included most of the Gaia-CRF3 objects.
