The astrophysical parameters are set independently for each transit of a star. If they are determined as in Section 6.4.4, they may be different at different transits. The Combine template workflow is in charge of collecting all the single-transit information for each star and combining them to produce a single set of astrophysical parameters which is associated with the star in all later processing steps. These parameters are published in Gaia DR2 (Table 6.1).
