20.14.6 gold_sample_spss

A table of the best parameters for spectrophotometric standard stars.
Recommended parameters for the Gaia Spectro-Photometric Standard stars (Pancino et al. 2021), selected as described in Gaia Collaboration et al. (2023c), from the available parameters produced by CU8 (Creevey et al. 2023) and CU6 (Katz et al. 2023).

Columns description:

source_id : Unique source identifier (unique within a particular Data Release) (long)

A unique single numerical identifier of the source obtained from gaia_source (for a detailed description see gaia_source.source_id).

spss_id : SPSS identifier (int)

Identifier defined by the SPSS team (Pancino et al. 2021).

spss_name : SPSS adopted name (string)

Preferred star name adopted by the SPSS team.

spectraltype : Spectral type (string)

Recommended spectral type based on estimates by the CU8-Apsis pipeline (Creevey et al. 2023).

bin_flag : Binary flag (int)

Flag indicating whether the star is a known binary (=1) or not (=0).

var_flag : Variability flag (int)

Flag indicating whether the star is a known variable (=1) or not (=0).

teff : Best effective temperature (float, Temperature[K])

Recommended effective temperature based on estimates by the CU8-Apsis pipeline (Creevey et al. 2023).

teff_error : Uncertainty of the best effective temperature (float, Temperature[K])

Uncertainty on the recommended effective temperature based on estimates by the CU8-Apsis pipeline (Creevey et al. 2023).

logg : Best surface gravity (float, GravitySurface[log cgs])

Recommended surface gravity (logarithmic) based on estimates by the CU8-Apsis pipeline (Creevey et al. 2023).

logg_error : Uncertainty on the best surface gravity (float, GravitySurface[log cgs])

Uncertainty on the recommended surface gravity based on estimates by the CU8-Apsis pipeline (Creevey et al. 2023).

feh : Best iron abundance (float, Abundances[dex])

Recommended iron abundance (logarithmic) based on estimates by the CU8-Apsis pipeline (Creevey et al. 2023).

feh_error : Uncertainty on the best iron abundance (float, Abundances[dex])

alphafe : Best alpha enhancement (float, Abundances[dex])
