An advance publication of the first Gaia full-sky map of Cepheids, RR Lyrae stars,
SX Phoenicis/ Scuti stars and long period variables is provided by automated
classification of all objects with at least two FoV transits in the band. The
results of this classification can be found in the Gaia DR2 archive in the
classification table associated with the nTransits:2+ classifier, although
subsequent filtering of sources by CU3 and CU9 increased the minimum number of FoV
transits to five (after taking into account also the CU7 observation filtering of the
pre-processing step described in Section 7.2.3).
